Human Trafficking in Nebraska
Class Description
Join us for an important and informative session on human trafficking in Nebraska, presented by Officer Flick. This class will provide a deeper understanding of what human trafficking is, how it presents in our state, and the critical role our community plays in recognizing and responding to it. Attendees will learn how to identify warning signs, understand risk factors, and respond safely and effectively in potential situations. Whether you work in education, healthcare, social services, or simply want to be more informed, this training offers valuable insight for everyone. Lunch will be provided. Continuing Education credits (CE’s) are available. Date: April 29 Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Location: Mid-Plains Community College – North Campus, Room 105 This event is presented by Lincoln County CASA and Lincoln County Community Action Partnership. Cancellations: If you are unable to attend, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance so we can offer your spot to another participant. Attendance: Classes begin promptly at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may miss important information. Class Format: Training sessions are free of charge. Materials and instructions will be provided during the class. Health & Safety: Attendees are expected to follow any current health and safety guidelines applicable to the training location.
